Bill Martin, Kearney Companies speaks at EPC100 luncheon
Bill Martin, Director of Business Development for Kearney Companies, was introduced at East Polk Committee of 100's March meeting. Kearney construction has been contracted by CSX to build the Intermodal Logistic Center (ILC) in Winter Haven. Kearney construction is one of the Kearney Companies, a 50 year-old privately held corporation based in Tampa, Florida.
Engineering News Record magazine lists the company as one of the top five specialty contractors in Florida. The company specializes in site development and infrastructure construction. Kearney construction's recent projects in Polk County include an industrial facility for RingPower and a Polk County roadway improvement project at Thornhill Road and Recker Highway.
Mr. Martin will be conducting a job fair for this project on a tentative date of May 20, 2009. Site to be announced at a later date.
