Message from the Executive Director

Welcome to East Polk Committee of 100. Our new web-site will provide the means to access our regional resources, economic development data base and information relating to East Polk County.

We are linked to our 12 participating cities and chambers. While you visit our website, experience the only site that brings together the information and link for East Polk’s cities, towns and chambers of commerce.

We will provide information for warehouse space, office space and land use for future development projects. EPC 100 works closely with our economic development partners to bring business expansion needs, information for relocating businesses, the latest data available to provide the information. East Polk County is strategically located and poised for Central Florida’s tremendous growth. The area is moving to another level.

A few of those economic projects that are moving us to that level and certainly will define Polk County’s identity and future are, University of South Florida’s "polytechnic research" campus along the I-4 corridor, Lake Myrtle Sports complex in Auburndale and the CSX’s integrated logistics center in Winter Haven. Most recently, LegoLand of Florida. Education, Tourism and Industrial developments are an ingredient for success.
